The Estoria

The Estoria Restaurant and "Shambles Bar" sits on the site of the original Connolly's hardware store which served the greater Bagenalstown area for many decades. Indeed the Shambles Bar derives its name from a yard that was part of the old hardware store. The ties with the old biulding are still strong, where Pat Kennedy, the current owner's father (John) worked in the hardware shop for over forty years. The Estoria was opened in 2006 after wonderful reconstruction of the hardware site. The interior design is classic art deco which gives the place its unique atmosphere.
